Srinagar, Jan 18: Apni Party Chief Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari expressed optimism over the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, set to take effect tomorrow, Sunday. He emphasized that the agreement offers a glimmer of hope for peace and stability in a region ravaged by conflict and bloodshed for the past fifteen months.

This development is expected to bring an end to the war that has claimed countless lives and displaced thousands in Gaza over the past 15 months.”

He highlighted the potential outcomes of the agreement, including the release of Palestinian prisoners and Israeli hostages, improved access for humanitarian aid to Gaza, and the possibility of displaced families returning to their homes. “This is truly a positive and encouraging development. The ceasefire has sparked cautious optimism among observers, with many hoping it will mark the beginning of a more stable and peaceful future for the region.
