CRPF Personnel Blissfully Turn ‘Baraatis’ of Groom Stuck Amid Snowfall in Pulwama’s Tral

Srinagar, Feb 20 (KS): In what could be taken as quite a personification of ‘blessing in disguise’, a group of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel not only rescued a wedding party stuck in snow but went an extra-mile to take the groom to his to be bride’s house in Pulwama district.

As the fate had it, a groom was stuck on a snow-clogged road even as the downpour continued in the far-flung Brenpathri village in Nagbal Tral. Looking clueless as what to do ahead and at the same time pushing to keep a date with the scheduled big day, the groom Mukhtar Ahmad Gojar saw an unexplainable bliss in the form of a team of CRPF’s 180 Battalion.

The CRPF troopers, as per news agency Kashmir Scroll, not only took the stuck groom out of the quandary, but to his joy and ecstasy went with him all the way up to his to-be bride’s house at Gutroo village.

The humane act of the CRPF troopers, the blessed ‘Baraatis’ of the event, garnered huge appreciation and warmed the hearts of the people of both the villages rejoicing the union of the two young souls. (KS)
