IUST VC applauds ANH’s Faza Zainab for being honoured as outstanding media person

Awantipora, Jan 27: Faza Zainab editor-in-chief of Asian News Hub, and a 2022 alumna of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) in Awantipora, has been honored as the Outstanding Media Person by the Jammu and Kashmir Administration on Republic Day 2024.

Vice-chancellor Islamic University of Science and Technology Professor Shakil Ahmad Romshoo congratulated her, emphasizing that her hard work and dedication are key to her success.

Dr. Mujeeb Liyakat, Head of DJMC, praised Faza Zainab for setting a benchmark in reporting and storytelling, inspiring current and future students to excel in the dynamic field of media and journalism.

Faza, holding a Master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication from IUST, continues to be a source of inspiration for the department.
