Srinagar, July 6: The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir has dismissed the (LPA) filed by Sanjay Saraf, upholding the earlier judgment that the dispute relating to the representation and voting rights of Whites Cricket Club is a private dispute and is not maintainable under Article 226 of the Constitution. The judgment reinforces that the controversy is essentially a private dispute and cannot be pursued through a writ petition. Recently, the court also restrained Javid Khitab and others from using the name “JKCA.” Attempts were made to tarnish its image despite its historic Ranji Trophy performances and the functioning of the Association under the full control and supervision of the BCCI.
