‘Burn in Hell’- Pakistan Calls Israel ‘Cancerous State’, Netanyahu Terms Remarks ‘Outrageous’

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has drawn a sharp response from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after making strong remarks against Israel, calling it a “cancerous state” and an “evil” entity in comments posted on social media.

According to statements attributed to Asif, he criticized Israel over its military actions and said he hoped people would “get rid of this cancerous state.” In a separate post, he wrote “Burn in hell.”.

The remarks came amid ongoing regional tensions and a broader geopolitical backdrop that includes a ceasefire understanding involving the United States and Iran

Responding to the comments, Netanyahu described the Pakistani minister’s statements as “outrageous,” and said that calls implying the destruction or elimination of Israel were unacceptable.

The exchange marks a sharp escalation in rhetoric between the two sides, even though Pakistan and Israel do not maintain formal diplomatic relations.

Majority of the netizens supported the Asif’s observations calling Israel a threat to global peace.
