Srinagar, Nov 2: Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi today said that the Budgam bye-election marks a historic opportunity for the district to script a new chapter of honest politics and people-centric governance, asserting that Budgam will soon have both its MP and MLA from AIP.
Addressing youth delegations from various areas of Budgam, Inam Un Nabi said the people, especially the younger generation are demanding transformation, not token promises. “Budgam’s youth want dignity, jobs, sports infrastructure and real development. AIP is the only party that matches their aspirations, not betrays them,” he said.
Inam added that under AIP, Budgam would witness transparent recruitment, revival of local sports grounds, expansion of skill centres and dedicated platforms for young talent in education, entrepreneurship, sports and culture.
Inam Un Nabi said that with Engineer Rashid already representing 40% of Kashmir as MP, electing AIP candidate Nazir Ahmad Khan as MLA Budgam will give the district unprecedented political strength.
“Budgam deserves leadership that stands with the people, not leaders who disappear after elections. Let this election be the turning point. Elect Nazir Ahmad Khan and give Budgam an MP-MLA duo from AIP who will fight for every household and every youth.”
He urged people to vote by pressing the Gas Cylinder symbol, saying the mandate will mark the beginning of clean politics, strong youth empowerment and long-awaited development in Budgam.
