Srinagar, Sep 25: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday said the situation in Ladakh was serious and appealed to the people not to take law into their own hands.
Chief Minister said that peace and brotherhood must be maintained in both Kargil and Leh, urging all stakeholders to resolve issues through dialogue rather than confrontation.
Without naming directly, Omar also hit out at political opponents, saying failures in arrangements during such incidents cannot be shifted onto others.
“When such situations arise, the first failure is of the arrangements. They should see why they fail and why such situations arise, instead of blaming others,” he added.
