Discussion Focuses on Unemployment, Skill Development, and Future of Youth in J&K
Lucknow: Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) State President Vivek Bali today met Shri Dr Arvind Rajbhar, National Chief General Secretary of SBSP and former Minister of Uttar Pradesh, in Lucknow to deliberate on key issues affecting the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
During the meeting, Vivek Bali expressed deep concern over the rising unemployment rate and the lack of job opportunities available to the younger generation in the Union Territory. He warned that the growing frustration among the youth is leading many towards unproductive and misguided paths, posing a serious threat to the social and economic fabric of the region. Bali stressed the need for immediate intervention through skill development programs, employment generation schemes, and constructive engagement that would allow the youth to channel their energies in a positive direction.
Highlighting the importance of grassroots-level interaction, Bali extended an invitation to Shri Dr Arvind Rajbhar Ji to visit Jammu and Kashmir and gain firsthand insight into the hardships faced by the people, particularly the unemployed youth.
In his response, Arvind Rajbhar assured that the concerns raised will be taken up at the Centre. He reiterated SBSP’s commitment to standing with the youth of Jammu and Kashmir and emphasized that empowering the younger generation remains a top priority for the party. According to him, youth empowerment is not only crucial for their individual progress but also essential for the overall peace, stability, and development of the region.
The meeting was marked as a significant step in highlighting the challenges of Jammu and Kashmir at the national level, with both leaders reaffirming their determination to work collectively towards a brighter future for the youth.—(KNC)
