Srinagar, May 5: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today chaired a high-level meeting at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar to review preparations for the opening of government offices in the summer capital.
According to official sources, the Chief Minister underscored the need to deliver effective governance at the grassroots level and ensure timely implementation of key budgetary priorities.
“Let’s focus on deliverables so that when we shift to Jammu in another six months, we can showcase real progress despite the challenges,” Omar Abdullah was quoted as saying during the meeting.
He directed the concerned departments to align their efforts with the broader objective of responsive and accountable administration. The meeting was attended by top bureaucrats and heads of departments. (KINS)
