Srinagar: A person was killed and several others critically wounded after a vehicle they were travelling in met with a fatal accident near Navyug tunnel in Banihal, an official said on Tuesday evening.
The official told news agency Kashmir Bulletin that a vehicle bearing registration number JK01AL 0707 crashed, leaving an individual dead on spot and several others critically injured.
“The injured persons have been evacuated to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment,” the official said.
Meanwhile, Police have taken cognisance of the incident for further investigations. (KB)
