Pampore, Feb 4: Residents of Pampore have raised serious concerns over the dysfunctional sound systems installed on garbage collection vehicles under the Municipal Committee Pampore. Despite collecting a monthly fee from the public for waste management, the authorities have failed to ensure that people are informed about the arrival of garbage vehicles in the morning.
Many locals complain that the malfunctioning “Swachh Bharat” sound system has led to confusion, leaving households unable to dispose of their waste on time. They demand immediate action from the Executive Officer (EO) of the Municipal Committee Pampore to restore the system and address their grievances.
With growing frustration among citizens, the silence of authorities on this issue has sparked fresh controversy over the efficiency of waste management services in the town.
