“No One Will Be Spared If Foul Play Found in Rajouri Deaths”: Deputy CM Surinder Chaudhary

Rajouri, Jan 18: Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today visited Budha
al village in Rajouri, where 16 people have mysteriously died in less than two months. He assured the bereaved families of a thorough investigation.

Calling the incident a “big tragedy,” Choudhary stated that the government is determined to uncover the cause of these deaths, whether natural or otherwise. He emphasized that if foul play is found, strict action will be taken.

Since December, 16 members of three families, including seven in the past week, have died in the village. Authorities have sealed three homes and relocated 21 close relatives to monitored government facilities.

Medical teams are on-site, and a Special Investigation Team is probing the cause. The Chief Minister is personally overseeing the situation. Initial compensation has been provided to the affected families, and the public is urged to remain calm.
