Srinagar | Masjid Imaam hanged self to death in Masjid in Shamsaabad Bemina

Srinagar, June 10: A 23 year old youth hanged self to death in Masjid in Shamsaabad bemina area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district on Monday.

An official told Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Scroll that a youth from Bijbehara town made an attempt to hang himself in a Noor Masjid Shamsaabad Srinagar while soon after the incident, he was shifted to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

The reason behind taking this extreme step wasn’t immediately known.

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.(KS)
