Iran Issues Another Warning to Israel: “We Will Respond at Maximum Intensity”

Srinagar, April 20: Iran’s foreign minister has said Tehran was investigating an overnight attack and that so far a link to Israel had not been proven as he downplayed the strike.

According to reports, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said that the drones took off from inside Iran and flew for a few hundred meters before being downed.

“They’re more like toys that our children play with, not drones,” Amirabdollahian said.

He warned that if Israel retaliated and acted against the interests of Iran, Tehran’s next response would be immediate and at maximum level.

“If Israel wants to do another adventurism and acts against the interests of Iran, our next response will be immediate and will be at the maximum level,” he said.

On Friday Iran’s Isfahan province was hit by air strikes, but no major damage took place. Israel, however, said nothing about the incident, while the US said it had not been involved in any offensive operations.

Tensions between Israel and Iran grew after the latter launched drone and missile strikes in a retaliatory action against the former last week. Following the air strikes, Israel had also warned of a retaliatory action against Iran.
