Land dispute escalation claims life of elderly man in Ganderbal

Ganderbal, Feb 11: In a distressing turn of events in Ganderbal, a heated family dispute culminated in a tragic fatality.

The incident occurred in the Bonzil Haripora area, involving a quarrel between two families. The unfortunate victim of this altercation was Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, a 65-year-old retired employee.

Following the altercation, Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh was immediately rushed to PHC Wusen for medical attention. However, doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.

A senior police officer confirmed the incident to Asian News Hub and said that the case has been registered in this regard and further investigations are underway.
